Surprise Cookies

Recipe from Martha Stewart Cookie Magazine. Although you can't see it very well the surprise is a marshmallow filling. These are chocolate cookies topped with melted marshmallows and topped with a chocolate frosting. The recipe required to half the ooey gooey white stuff and put on top of the baked cookie and let it melt, wait till they cooled and top with the frosting. I found this recipe to be really fun to make and even more delicious to eat. The result is cakey and chewy chocolate yumminess. I want to try to make these again, but most likely i will add a complete marshmallow and ommit the chocolate frosting. The frosting was also a great topping on vanilla ice cream.
